Should you require a visa to enter Switzerland, you must apply for this as part of your application to BHMS. Without this, you will be unable to enter the country to begin your studies.

If you do not know whether you need a visa to enter Switzerland, please contact us, your local BHMS representative or your local Swiss Embassy.

The process of applying for, and receiving, a visa can take up to 12 weeks and you must allow for this when deciding in which term you would like to commence your studies.

The BHMS Admissions Office and/or your local BHMS representative will guide you through this process and provide you with any documentation that you require.

Interview at the Swiss Embassy

In most countries, you will be required to attend an interview at the Swiss Embassy, where among other things your level of English will be evaluated. Appointments are limited, so be sure to arrange your interview as early as possible.

Generally, for this, you will need to:

• Complete 3 copies of the visa application form (available from the Swiss Embassy or your local BHMS representative)
• Include 6 passport photographs
• Include the Offer of Admission from BHMS
• Include a certified financial statement from your bank, showing that you have at least enough funds to cover the first year's course fees.
