How to Apply

We recommend that you start the application procedure at least 3 to 6 months before your chosen term begins.

Most of our students require a visa to enter and study in Switzerland and the visa application process itself generally lasts approximately 12 weeks.

It is also possible that the school may already be at full capacity for the term that you wish to start your studies - so please do apply early to avoid disappointment.

Step 1: The first step is to complete the online application form on this website. We will then contact you and inform you of the next stage of the process.

In many countries, BHMS has expert local representatives that will be able to guide you through the admissions process and assist you in obtaining a visa and all the necessary documentation for your studies in Switzerland.

Should this not be the case, the Admissions Office of BHMS in Lucerne will be directly available to assist you with the requirements for your application.

Step 2: You will need to submit certified copies of your transcripts and copies of the first 3 pages of your passport.

Step 3: Should your application be successful, you will receive an Offer of Admission either directly from BHMS or via your local BHMS representative. This will include an invoice for the first year's fees.

Step 4: As soon as you have an Offer of Admission, the Visa Application process must be started (please see also separate section Visa Application for further details).

Step 5: Payment of first year fees (the exact timing of this varies according to the visa requirements prevailing in different countries).

Step 6: Visa issue and travel to Switzerland - good luck with your studies!
